Drugs or alcohol courses? The only way I have experienced that is to have them coursing through my veins. It was worth it at the time recreationally.

Lol, Leo. Would you call that lab work?

I took a class in college called Drugs and behavior. It was interesting. As for prevention, who knows. Kids/young adults are going to try what they're going to try. I haven't done any research in this area so can't factually back anything up. This is just my instinct based on personal experience and observation.

I think knowing someone who's had a bad experience with a particular drug would have more preventative effects than taking a class but again, that's simply based on experience.

I think it's important for people to be educated on the facts but based on the invinsibility most young people think they have, I wouldn't expect the classes to do much good.

Yeah true that. I knew someone did PCP when I was a teenager, which is precisely why I turned that one down when the opportunity presented itself. I was not what you could say even remotely convinced by the we-don't-do-that lectures of the 1980s. lol

This is your brain.
This is your brain on drugs.
And, this is your brain on a ham and cheese mcmuffin.

Lol and I wonder why they never figured out a bunch of stoned teenagers would have simply taken those commercials as a sign to go refill on the munchies.

Great topic. Good for a laugh anyway.
The methods which the older generation choose to teach the younger about these things are, regrettably, laughable.
If you weren't convinced not to take a puff or two off the old Scooby doobie by the just say no campaign, don't feel bad. Nobody else was either. As far as it goes, the best advice is to not be stupid. If you're curious about a drug, do some research. If it seems like an experience you want to have, do what you gotta do. Just always be safe. Don't ride in cars with folks who are driving impaired. Don't get into hard drugs.
If you don't know the difference between hard drugs and non hard drugs, the whole drug thing might not be for you at this point in your life, lol.

haha i remember that PSA from awhile back. I am sure there are class on the effects of drugs on the body that you can take. I know there is a chemical dependency class out there to take to learn about that sourt of thing.
